Young Skull Club (Youth)

Established in August of 2010, Young Skull Club is a youth competition team representing Studio V. Directed by Krystal “Phoenix” Meraz and Christopher “Pharside” Jennings, their mission is to create a positive outlet for youth to express their passion through the art form of dance. The members of YSC range from ages eight to eighteen and their program consists of several skill building techniques. They were crowned 2013 Champions of World of Dance Bay Area, 2014 Champions of Bridge NorCal, and were nominated Youth Team of the Year for the 2014 World of Dance Industry Awards. It is important to create an outlet for the youth in our community. They are our future. It is our job to pave a path and to make sure that they are always learning and applying their skills/talents.
